We were invited by St. Luke’s Community Centre to run two days of community consultation stalls at the Whitecross Street Party this July. The event was to decipher which of St. Luke’s proposed priorities for their programme should be focused on: helping people into employment, tackling disadvantage and building a sense of community.
We also encouraged the local community to add their own priorities through writing their wishes for the local area on our ‘prayer-flag’ style bunting, as well as our speech bubbles on the stall. People also contributed their ideas to our short film, which we filmed on site at the stall.
The findings were collated into a final report and fed back to St. Luke’s Centre, along with this short film.
